A Blantyre based Opco Ltd has quietly grown into one of the top commercial building construction and engineering companies in the country and is the brand behind several iconic structures in Malawi today. If it is not doing the building construction, then it is providing the heavy machinery and equipment used in the construction around the country.
Over the years, the company has made a mark on the market; constructing multi-storey buildings, offices, apartments, health centers, schools, commercial warehouses, markets, laboratories, staff houses and various refurbishments and rehabilitation works have been undertaken.

Scaling Product line
Since 2022, the company has added new products to its product portfolio; supply of steel and power solutions. In addition, the company is in the process of expanding its footprint into the SADC market, looking at countries like Zambia and Tanzania.
